Photo Recap of our Second Week

We have come to the end of our second week in Italy. Below you will find a photo recap of the past 7 days in Florence!

Audrey Rehberg: "The group enjoying L'Ortone for our welcome dinner in Florence."

Kelsie Basile: "Duomo about you, but this great big door reminds me how great and big our women's health research is."

Holly Jones: "Perfect photobomb by my new friend at SandwiChic. He recommended a delicious sandwich with a special local taste!"

Morgan Boncyk: "To be happy doing what you love is the true meaning of art. This old man outside the Uffizi Gallery showed the beauty in it all."

Julia Stone: "Satisfied all my food cravings at a 1950's-themed diner."

Kayleigh Mann: "Perks of having a roommate who works at Fedora, the pastry shop, and makes yummy treats!"

Chandler Dykstra: "Parma ham from our trip to Parma!"

Dr. DeMaria: "Fresh Parmigiano-Reggiano at a cheese factory in Modena. This wheel was then cut into two, and aged at least one year to be classified as Parmigiano-Reggiano (there were other processing requirements as well)."
Sydney Rivera: "Modena, Italy: Learning about (and tasting!) authentic Parmigiano Reggiano was wheely fun."

Laura Long: "These are a couple of the HUGE balsamic vinegar barrels produced in Modena, Italy!"

Taylor Quarles: "Exploring Florence in our free time has been exciting. I am finally starting to learn my way around!"

Hannah Zaininger: "The glass is always half-full when you are in Italy, so cheers to great friends and great wine!"

Jalynn Evans: "Leaving the main tourist spots and exploring Firenze has its benefits (like this gorgeous view)."

Hannah Calvert: "The best views are always worth the climb."

Anyia Clayton: "The graffiti on the bridge makes me wonder what is beneath its beauty."

Alyssa Miller: "The gorgeous sunset shimmering off the Arno River in Florence!"

We have all had a blast exploring Florence and making this city our home. We look forward to the coming weeks of delicious food, beautiful sunsets, and fascinating women's health research.
